The majority of major fungicides in China saw a MoM decrease in their ex-works price in end-May. Among them, the ex-works prices of triazole fungicides and methoxy acrylate fungicides declined. Despite the fact that it was the peak season for agrochemicals in China, the end markets, affected by weather, were mainly consuming inventory. Besides, the overseas demand was rather weak, while the operating rate of domestic producers was increasing, which caused the prices to stabilise and decline.

Jiangsu Jiannong's application to resume its 200 t/a paclobutrazol TC producing facilities and 5,000 t/a 3-chloropivaloyl chloride producing facilities has be approved by local chemical park management committee and county-level authorities. But for the resumption to become a reality, the company still needs to pass the municipal-level review. It's worth mentioning that Jiangsu Jiannong's 200 t/a paclobutrazol TC producing facilities are a set of shared devices. More specifically, the facilities are designed mainly for the production of paclobutrazol TC, and can also be used to produce tebuconazole TC and imidacloprid TC. Besides, Jiangsu Jiannong is working to accelerate the application for the resumption of other suspended facilities at the same time.
