In 2019, there were 17 kinds of different active ingredients approved first registration in China, obtaining 21 registration certificates in total. Thereinto, 14 registrations were fungicide formulations, 6 for insecticides, and one for herbicide.

The 64 new registrations of fungicide formulations in China in 2019 were held by 51 registrants. Specifically, Jiangxi Zhongxun Agro-Chemical Co., Ltd. obtained 6 new registrations.

Among the 64 new registrations of fungicide formulations in 2019, there had been 38 registrations of mixed fungicide formulations with 29 kinds of active ingredients. Total number of new registrations of the top eight active ingredients by number of registrations reached 17, of which fludioxonil &middot; metalaxyl-M gained 3 registrarions while each of the rest 7 active ingredients gained two.

Among the 64 new registrations of fungicide formulations in 2019, there had been 26 registrations of single fungicide formulations with 24 different active ingredients. Thereinto, two active ingredients, bupirimate and metconazole, obtained 2 new registrations respectively, while the others gained one each.

Thereinto, the number of new registrations of the top ten active ingredients by number of registrations reached 21. Specifically, the active ingredient fludioxonil &middot; metalaxyl-M obtained 3 new registrations in 2019, ranking first.

Among them, the number of new registrations of suspension concentrate (SC) by number of registrations were 27, accounting for 42% of the total new fungicide formualtions registrations, ranking the first.

In 2019, there had been 14 kinds of newly registered pesticide formulations in China. The number of herbicide formulations registered reached 82, accounting for 33% of the total, followed by fungicide formulations 25% and insecticide formulations 15%.

In 2019, there had been 176 kinds of active ingredients and combinations altogether in the 251 new registrations of pesticide formulations. The total number of new registrations of the main active ingredients (with at least 3 registrations), reached 69, accounting for 27% of the total new registrations. Main active ingredients included glufosinate-ammonium, glyphosate, pretilachlor, bensulfuron-methyl, transfluthrin, etc.

In 2019, among all the 251 new registrations of pesticide formulations in China, there had been 184 new registrations of herbicide formulations, fungicide formulations and insecticide formulations, accounting for 73% of the total. There had been 131 active ingredients in the 251 new registrations. Specifically, there had been 53 ones in the new registrations of fungicide formulations, 47 ones in the new registrations of herbicide formulations and 31 ones in the new registrations of insecticide formulations.

Thereinto, the number of new registrations of the main active ingredients registered 3 or above, was 42. The main active ingredients included transfluthrin, glufosinate-ammonium, bispyribac-sodium, 6-benzylamino-purine, pinoxaden, etc.
