5月12日，全国农技中心召开了2020年全国早稻主要病虫害发生趋势网络会商会，其中有关专家根据当前病虫发生基数、水稻栽培情况和气候条件等因素综合分析，预计2020年早稻主要病虫害总体偏重发生，全国累计发生面积约达1,693万公顷次，与2019年持平。

5月18日，生态环境部发布了《2020年挥发性有机物治理攻坚方案（征求意见稿）》，并对外征求意见，该方案重点管控全国各地挥发性有机物的排放，降低夏季臭氧污染影响。

2020年3月中国新型冠状肺炎疫情基本得到控制，企业有序复工复产，嘧菌酯原药生产厂家也逐步恢复生产。但是海外疫情愈加严重，海外生产、出口受限，从而利好中国嘧菌酯扩大全球范围内的市场份额。3月中国嘧菌酯的出口数量环比出现大幅度上涨，其中嘧菌酯制剂的上涨幅度尤为突出。

5月下旬中国主要杀菌剂的出厂价格与4月同期相比，大部分产品呈现出下降的趋势，其中三唑类以及甲氧基丙烯酸酯类杀菌剂的出厂价格均稳有所下降。虽然目前是国内农药用药的旺季，但是受天气影响终端市场主要以消耗库存为主；此外，海外需求呈现弱势再加上国内生产厂家开工率逐步上涨，种种因素导致产品价格主要偏稳或呈现下降。

山东潍坊双星因其公司现有的1,000吨/年苯醚甲环唑生产装置建设时间较早，当时的生产设施、环保处理设施已不能满足生产需求以及达不到当前环保政策的要求，提出1,000 吨/年苯醚甲环唑技改项目，目前苯醚甲环唑生产装置已停产。该技改项目完成后其公司的苯醚甲环唑产能保持在1,000吨/年不变。

江苏建农递交的200吨/年多效唑原药生产装置以及5,000吨/年氯代特戊酰氯生产装置复产申请已按流程相继通过了所在地化工园管委会初审、县级验收，接下来能否最终顺利实现复产接下来还需面临市级复核。而值得一提的是，江苏建农拥有的多效唑原药生产装置是一套共用型装置，以多效唑原药生产设计为主，同时戊唑醇原药、吡虫啉原药套用此装置进行轮换生产。此外，江苏建农还在积极与相关单位沟通来加快推动其他停产生产装置的复产申请工作。

4月28日，中国农业农村部农药检定所根据《行政许可法》《农药管理条例》有关规定，对外公布了2020年第3批拟登记农药产品，其中含吡唑醚菌酯成分的产品在所有拟批准登记的杀菌剂产品中数量最多，可见吡唑醚菌酯依然是中国杀菌剂市场的登记热点。

海利尔药业旗下所拥的1,000吨/年吡唑醚菌酯原药生产装置自2017年四季度开始试生产以来，在生产工艺的不断调试和改造升级过程中而实现生产负荷率逐年提升，现已能够成熟稳定的满负荷发挥生产效率。其中该套1,000吨/年吡唑醚菌酯原药生产装置在整个2019年度内产出吡唑醚菌酯原药产品高达1,110.62吨，产能利用率满负荷至111.06%。
