China wire rod export price dropped again

Reportedly, the export prices for Chinese wire rod have dropped by another US$30/ton since end of last month because of weak demand in native market.

China's local stockiest did not intend to book too early in the sluggish market and an unclear future economy circumstance.

The prevailing export prices for SAE1008B boron added wire rod produced by main mills were around US$540/ton FOB, falling by around 5% from that in last two weeks.

According to China Customs data, China exported 491,422 tons of wire rods in June, remaining flat from a month earlier.
