CNPC International starts its AD project in Afghanistan

On June 24, CNPC International kicked off its AD project in Afghanistan's Angot oil field. Been issued production license by local authority, the project officially marched into production start-up phase.

Preparation works of the project has been going well as scheduled since December 2011. Currently, the camps and roads have been completed. The equipments for geophysical prospecting and workover have been taken places successively. So the base is available for surface engineering and subsurface operation, laying a solid foundation for achieving desired objectives in 2012.

As the first large-scale oilfield development project in the country, the successful execution of the project will greatly improve local people's life, create more job opportunities, and facilitate social development.
