Selected non-staple food prices –30th week of 2014

Egg price rises slightly,

pork price continues upward trend

 

 

According to MOA's Agri-product Wholesale Market Information Network, the Nationwide Agri-product Wholesale Price Index for the 30th week of 2014 (July 21-27, 2014) is 205.54 (year 2000=100), up by 0.54 point over the previous week. The Nationwide Non-staple Food Wholesale Price Index is 207.61, up by 0.74 point over the previous week. The trade volume of 60 items in 50 wholesale markets under intensive monitoring is 664,700 tons, up by 0.8% compared to the previous week.

1.    The price of egg rose for five consecutive weeks, 3.2 percentage points lower than that of the previous week.

2.    The price of pork continued rising.

3.    The total trade volume in 50 major wholesale markets under intensive monitoring of MOA.
