Animal product prices fall slightly,
vegetable prices rise slightly
According to MOA's Agri-product Wholesale Market Information Network, the Nationwide Agri-product Wholesale Price Index for the 26th week of 2014 (June 23-29, 2014) is 203.90 (year 2000=100), up by 0.89 point over the previous week. The Nationwide Non-staple Food Wholesale Price Index is 205.55, up by 0.90 point. The trade volume of 60 items in 50 wholesale markets under intensive monitoring is 636,000 tons, down by 0.4% compared to the previous week.

5. 18 of the 28 vegetable items witnessed price increase, 3 items remained the same and the other 7 items saw price drop compared to those of the previous week.
6. The average vegetable price was 6.0% higher than that of the same period last year.
