Selected non-staple food prices – 2nd week of 2014

Prices of most of animal products remain stable with a modest rise,

vegetable prices rise slightly

 

According to MOA's Agri-product Wholesale Market Information Network, the Nationwide Agri-product Wholesale Price Index for the 2nd week of 2014(Jan.6, 2014-Jan.12, 2014) is 204.14 (year 2000=100), rising by 1.61 points over a week ago. The Nationwide Non-staple Food Wholesale Price Index is 205.49, up by 1.93points. The trade volume of 60 items in 50 wholesale markets under intensive monitoring is 530,000 tons, down by 5.5% compared to the previous week.
