China lysine buyers turn cautious
Lysine prices were stable to weaker during the week ending February 5.
Demand slowed as most buyers have accumulated sufficient inventories of late. This together with transportation difficulties resulted in light trade during the week in review.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were unchanged at RMB13.15-13.60/kg.
With Chinese New Year approaching, lysine producers and feed millers will halt operation soon to prepare for the festive celebration. Sales will be limited in the coming period holding prices weak.
