India builds first trout feed mill in Kashmir
India has established a first of its kind trout fish feed mill in Manasbal, Kashmir, India, which is highly sophisticated, equipped with latest technology for producing extruded pellets of trout fish feed, official statement said.
The Feed Mill has been established to cope up the increasing demand of trout feed for private fish farmers as well as the government fish farms. The commercial production of extruded pelleted (floating type) has started from the said Mill.
The department has made a sale of trout feed to department of livestock Royal Government of Bhutan.
The Trout Feed Mill established at Manasbal is able not only to meet the demand of trout feed requirement of the J&K State, but the department can also export it to the other states of India and to the neighbouring Asian countries.
