Anitox announces new appointments is Asia Pacific
Anitox, an international corporation offering pathogen elimination, mould control and milling efficiency programmes for the feed milling and primary meat, egg, and fish production industries, has announced a number of new appointments as part of its ongoing expansion programme in Asia Pacific.
Dr C. K. Lim, DVM, joins Anitox as Regional Technical Manager - Asia Pacific, a role in which he will be responsible for providing technical support to Anitox customers, distributors, sales staff and engineers in the Region. Based at the company''s offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Beijing, China, Dr Lim previously worked as a feed consultant/advisor for Prima Limited Singapore and since starting his career in 1990 has worked for a number of companies in the aquaculture and animal feed industries. Having qualified as a vet at the National Taiwan University, he gained an MSc in Aquaculture at the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, followed by a PhD in Animal Nutrition from ENSAT, the Graduate School of Life Sciences, at Toulouse in France.
Anitox have also appointed Eric Chew, who is based in Penang, Malaysia, as Feed Milling Technologist - Asia Pacific, a role in which he will be responsible for supporting Anitox''s range of Maxi-Mil milling efficiency products in the region. Having graduated with a Degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Coventry University (UK) in 1997, Eric worked for Cargill for 10 years before joining the PT Malindo Feedmill, Tbk. in Indonesia during 2008. Since 2009 he has worked for Dindings Soya & Multifeeds Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, most recently as Head of Production & Quality at the company''s mills in Lumut and Pasir Gudang.
Michael Song takes on a new role with Anitox, that of National Sales Manager- China. Michael, who has extensive knowledge and experience of the animal health, nutrition and production sectors in the country, will work with existing and prospective customers to develop Anitox''s business. Having started his career as a veterinary surgeon in Beijing, Michael subsequently worked for Beijing Chia-tai Feed Co Ltd, China''s leading feed company, then joined the Hong Kong Solvay Animal Health Co Ltd in 1994, moving to Shanghai Lomann Animal Health Co Ltd in 1997 as Regional Manager for North China. Prior to taking up his new position with Anitox, Michael was Marketing Director in China for Lohmann Animal Health.
As Technical Services Specialist- China, Mark Zhang, leads Anitox''s Technical Support function in the country, providing high-quality comprehensive technical support for the company''s agents, distributors and customers. Now based in Beijing, Mark has worked in the animal nutrition sector since 2008, most recently for Novus in North China, where he was responsible for ruminant products.
Anitox have also appointed a Sales & Marketing Coordinator - Asia Pacific. Vivian An operates from the company''s offices in Kuala Lumpur and Beijing.
