VIV Asia 2011 presents new show themes

For the next issue of VIV Asia, in March 2011, significantly more product presentations and exhibitors are expected, and a series of new show themes are anticipated to prove rewarding.

Feedtech-Croptech Asia 2011, Laboratory @VIV Asia 2011 and New in Town have been launched to attract new business at VIV Asia 2011. To mark the 10th edition, VIV Asia presents Focus 2021, which compromises a range of activities related to the future of the industries in the year 2021, 10 years ahead of 2011.

VIV Asia 2011 will also be co-located with Aquatic Asia 2011, the brand new dedicated event for the Asia-Pacific aquaculture business. Aquatic Asia 2011 is an independent trade show that will allow organizers to offer buyers and suppliers in aquaculture in Asia-Pacific a unique opportunity to meet key contacts active in aquaculture solely or with a joint-interest in aquaculture, poultry and/or pigs.

In addition to Aquaculture, including a strong focus on algae production, Aquatic Asia also involves the related activities of Mariculture and Capture-based aquaculture.

To fully benefit from the opportunities in milling, VIV Asia 2011 will host Feedtech-Croptech Asia 2011. With this new initiative, VIV Asia will bring together investors, producers and engineers who are active in milling equipment and related activities for the production of feed, food and fuel.

Laboratory @VIV Asia 2011 is a specialist event within VIV Asia 2011 developed to give buyers, suppliers, researchers and opinion leaders the opportunity to do business in a customised environment that will attract key laboratory people from across the region. In line with the Feed to Meat concept, Laboratory @VIV Asia 2011 focuses on animal feed safety, food safety including meat, egg and fish safety.

For the 2011 edition, VIV Asia groups first-time exhibitors within two dedicated pavilions. The New-in-Town Pavilions give suppliers a fair bit of extra marketing power to impress visitors with their knowledge and products.

A selection of political, economic and social themes will form the basis for a series of visionary key notes and product awards with a focus on animal production in Asia-Pacific over the coming 10 years.

VIV Asia 2011is scheduled for March 9-11, 2011 in BITEC exhibition centre, Bangkok, Thailand.
