Slow feed demand limits sulphate additives sales in China
Cupric sulphate
Fed millers were reluctant to stockpile high inventories as the sales of premixes were poor during November.
As of December 12, transaction prices of cupric sulphate reduced to the range of RMB13,300-13,500/tonne.
Although buyers will continue to be cautious demand is expected to rise, supporting prices to stay firm.
Zinc sulphate
Stable demand, together with tight supplies, lent support to zinc sulphate market.
Prices of zinc oxide, the ingredient for producing zinc sulphate, softened of late. Producers are likely to keep prices of zinc sulphate
competitive in a bid to promote sales.
Manganese sulphate
Reduced demand for premix during November limited the usage of manganese sulphate. However, as supply stayed tight, manganese sulphate market remained stable.
Demand is expected to increase as
livestock producers prepare for the pre-Chinese New Year market.
Ferrous sulphate
The availability of ferrous sulphate was limited due to lower production of
titanium dioxide. Prices remained firm during the period in review.
Stable demand and tight supply will underpin the prices of ferrous sulphate in the coming period.
