  Production & Market Information

In this part, the situation of polyacrylamide (PAM) has been introduced and discussed from aspects of history, production, market, import & export, consumption, etc. We took great effort in summarizing the situation of major Chinese manufacturers, analysizing the import situation of PAM in 2001.

  Production Benchmarking of PAM

In this part, the production processes for PAM have been compared and described. A rout from acrylonitrile (AN) to acrylamide (AM) by catalytic hydration method and the rout from AM to PAM by aqueous solution polymerization method have been discussed in details. A model has been set up to reflect the actual rout in China. A scientific method is employed to estimate the raw material cost, manufacturing cost and total production cost in China, in order to assess the competitiveness of Chinese production technology and to find out how the Chinese producers finalize the price fixing for their materials.

  Situation of Chinese Manufacturers

In this part, the Chinese AM & PAM manufacturers that have been located have been introduced from aspects of history, production technology, production, marketing strategy, future plan, comments to the other industrial players, etc. The information is based on the extensive telephone interview.

The aim of this report is:
