The 17th China International AGrochemical & Crop
Protection Exhibition (CAC) was held in Shanghai during 9-11 March, 2016.
Although Chinese glyphosate manufacturers all hold positive attitude towards
the future glyphosate market and are willing to stabilize the glyphosate price
jointly, this is only a kind of position held by suppliers. China's glyphosate
market will not turn better unless the overseas demand increases significantly.
In the first half of March, the ex-works price of 95%
glyphosate TC was USD2,761/t (RMB18,000/t), a slight MoM fall. While the
ex-works prices of 41% glyphosate IPA, 50% glyphosate SP, 62% glyphosate IPA
and 75.7% glyphosate WSG kept stabilized, being USD1,457/t (RMB9,500/t),
USD1,948/t (RMB12,700/t), USD1,810 /t (RMB11,800/t) and USD2,914/t
(RMB19,000/t) respectively.

As of now, China's glyphosate market remained stable,
and the prices of TC and formulations are likely to increase slightly in the
coming future under the situation where downstream demand has no significant
recovery.
