In April 2016, the export volume of glyphosate TC and glyphosate formulations recorded a MoM rise of 1.45% and 3.80% respectively in China.

Export volume

In April 2016, China exported 28,404 tonnes of glyphosate TC, 3,907 tonnes of PMIDA and 54,859 tonnes of glyphosate formulations. The MoM rise in TC and formulations was 1.45% and 3.80% respectively.

Also, China exported around 50,000 tonnes of glyphosate A.I. (100% glyphosate acid equivalent) in April, up 4.08% MoM.

Export price

In April, the export price of China's glyphosate TC, PMIDA and glyphosate formulations was USD2.81/kg, USD1.57/kg and USD1.64/kg respectively.

Export destination

China exported glyphosate to 100 countries/regions in April 2016.

Thereinto, glyphosate TC was exported to 37 countries/regions. The top 10 export destinations by volume were Brazil, Argentina, the US, Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia, Paraguay, Denmark, Ireland and India. And the total export volume approximately accounted for 86% of the total.

China exported 41% glyphosate IPA to 82 countries/regions. The top 10 destinations by volume were namely Nigeria, Ghana, Thailand, Russia, Vietnam, Cote d'Ivoire, Mexico, Japan, Canada and Guinea. The export volume accounted for about 62% of the total.

China only exported 5,912 tonnes of 51% glyphosate IPA to Australia.

China exported 62% glyphosate IPA to 31 countries/regions, and the top 7 were Thailand, Indonesia, the US, Mexico, South Korea, the Philippines and Israel, 74% of the total.

China exported 75.7% glyphosate WSG to 29 countries/regions, the top 10 export destinations were Russia, the US, Belarus, Latvia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Thailand, Mexico and Japan. The export volume to these countries/regions accounted for 84% of the total.

China exported PMIDA to two countries, namely the US and Argentina, whose import volume accounting for 56% and 24% respectively.

Manufacturer

In April, China's exported glyphosate TC was mainly produced by 21 enterprises, while the exported glyphosate formulations were produced by 32 enterprises.

Based on export volume, top three enterprises of exported glyphosate TC were Sichuan Fuhua Tongda Agro-chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (Sichuan Fuhua), Nantong Jiangshan Agrochemical & Chemicals Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Co., Ltd., whose export volume accounted for 53% of the total in China.

The top three enterprises by export volume of glyphosate formulations were Zhejiang Wynca Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd., Sichuan Fuhua and Zhejiang Jinfanda Bio-Chemical Co., Ltd., whose export volume accounted for 41% of the total in China.
