According to China Customs data, in Feb. 2022, China exported 154,222.61 tonnes of titanium dioxide (TiO2), up by 52.00% YoY; the average export price was USD2,120.02/t, down by 29.49% YoY.
In Jan.–Feb. 2023, China's export volume of TiO2 was 285,826.19 tonnes, up by 17.63% YoY. In this period, export prices averaged USD2,108.93/t, down by 29.78% YoY.
In terms of import, in Feb. 2023, China imported 4,828.61 tonnes of TiO2, down by 69.53% YoY; the average import price was USD3,578.25 /t, up by 7.41% YoY.
In Jan.–Feb. 2023, China's import volume of TiO2 was 8,475.80 tonnes, down by 64.60% YoY. In this period, import prices averaged USD3,740.69/t, up by 12.38% YoY. The import volume in Jan.–Dec. 2023 decreased YoY is mainly due to poor domestic demand and high prices of imported TiO2.
