On 7 Oct., the report on the inspection and acceptance of the completed environmental protection facilities of LeSweet (Chuzhou) Food and Beverage Co., Ltd. (LeSweet)'s 30,000 t/a beverage syrup and 1,000 t/a solid sugar project was made public, with publication ending on 1 Nov.

Granulated solid sugar (500 t/a)
Powdered solid sugar (500 t/a)
Consumption of main raw materials:
10,050 t/a of sugar alcohols
1,800 t/a of syrup
55 t/a of sweetener
Labour quota: 60 employees in total, including 30 existing employees
Working system: Two 8hr shifts per workday, totalling 300 working days a year
Progress:
Approval of environmental impact report: May 2022
Commencement of construction: June 2022
Commissioning: Dec. 2022
On-site environmental monitoring: 1–2 March, 2023
LeSweet is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Nanjing Jinhe Yikang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Nanjing Jinhe) which is held by Yang Le, the chairman of Anhui Jinhe Industrial Co., Ltd. (Anhui Jinhe). Yang and Anhui Jinhe hold 22.59% and 39.24% in Nanjing Jinhe, respectively.
