NRW raises coking coal prices for Q4

Reportedly, Central Europe-based miner New World Resources Plc (NWR) said that it has inked an agreement with its customer for the prices of coking coal and cokes for the fourth quarter of this year.

NWS hiked the average agreed prices of coking coal by 11% from a quarter ago to €101/ton. Besides, the average agreed prices for cokes remained stable at €231/ton.

Meanwhile, NRW produced 2.2 million tons of coking and thermal coal in the third quarter of this year.

At the same time, its sales volumes of coking coal and coke totaled 1.2 million tons and 142,000 tons respectively.
