It's reported that the European stainless producers have the alloy surcharges further for September due to weak demand and lower nickel prices.
It's known that the September alloy surcharges for 304, 316 and 430 grades stainless steel products are at €1,325/ton, €1,980/ton and €500/ton respectively.
Meanwhile, industry sources predicted that the demand for stainless steel products might not be improved obviously in the short time. Thus, the stainless steel prices might stay in downward trend.
