According to the up-to-date news released by CISA, China's 77 registered steelmakers made an overall profit of 8.456 billion yuan in August, decreasing by 1.5% as compared to previous month. Meanwhile, the sales profit rate had hit a record low in this year and reached 2.6%, down 0.2 percent from prior month.
On the other hand, in January to August of this year, the aggregate profits for China's 77 registered steelmakers stood at 73.82 billion yuan, surging by 26.7% year over year. At the same time, during the given period the cumulative sale profit rate was 3.01%, a little bit higher than 2.98% in the previous year.
