According to the data released by CNCA(China's National Coal Association), even though China's coal imports may amount to 9 million t, the cumulative net imports in Q1 had decreased drastically. Meanwhile, China's coal exports also totaled 2.59 million t in March, raising by 14.5% year over year.
On the other hand, from January to February this year China had imported 23.32 million t of coal, dropping by 18.8% year over year. While in February China's coal imports reached 6.76 million t, decreasing by 47.6% year over year and by 10 million t month over month.
