According to the data released by CNCA(China's National Coal Association), for the first quarter of this year, both of China's coal output and sales rose on aggregate along with the gradually decreased inventories owing to the growing market demand. And the coal price averaged 620-640yuan/t until the end of March, which had inched down slightly compared to the very beginning of this year. Meanwhile during the given period, the market also showed a decline for China's coal imports while China's coal exports were continuing growing step by step.

After the spring festival, the coal production stepped into a regular stage and plus the commissioning of resource-integrated mines, which had made the coal output rise significantly. Consequently China's raw coal output reached 792 million t for the first quarter of this year, raising by 60.59 million t year over year. However, the market still showed a stable coal price, for instance the price for 5500 kcal were 620-640 yuan/t until the end of March which just decline marginally compared to the very beginning of this year.
