According to statistics, China's crude stainless steel output totaled 1.57 million tons in July, increasing by 7.2% from a month ago.
In July, the country's output of chromium-based stainless steel totaled 310,000 tons, rising by 10.8%; that of nickel-based stainless steel was at 767,000 tons, up by 3% and that of manganese-based stainless steel was at 493,000 tons, up by 12%, all compared to the figures in a month ago.
In the first seven months of this year, the country's production of crude stainless steel amounted to 10.76 million tons, rising by 21.2% year on year.
