In May of current year, Chinese coke output had reached 38.473 million tons, jumping by 4.99% from the same period of previous year. Meanwhile, the year-to-date coke production had totaled 183.283 million tons, swelling by 6.4% year on year.
At present, influenced by the sluggish steel market, the domestic coke market is also hovering around soft levels. As for the market prospect, we expect that the domestic coke price will continue its weak trend in the near future.
