CNPC subsidizes Turkmen students to study in China

On November 15, subsidized by CNPC (Turkmenistan) Amu Darya River Gas Company, 16 Turkmen students set out for Beijing for five years time study in the China University of Petroleum.

Jointly selected by CNPC Amu Darya River Gas Company, Turkmen State Agency for Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources, and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, these students will major in petroleum engineering, oil and gas storage and transportation, chemical technology and mechanical design after finishing Chinese language learning. Once graduate, they will go back to Turkmenistan to work in the oil and gas industry.

Within five years from this year on, CNPC Amu Darya River Gas Company plans to foster 100 students for Turkmenistan by providing the education fee and establishing scholarships, to enrich the country with more talents in the oil and gas sectors.
