On June 20, Premier Wen Jiabao paid a visit to Zhongyou BSS (Qinhuangdao) Petropipe Co., Ltd, a JV between CNPC Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. and Malaysia-based UMW Holdings Bhd.

Premier Wen inspected workshops for raw material, molding machines and tack welding, to fully understand the layout, technologies and operation of the production line. After listening to the briefing made by CNPC Vice President Li Xinhua, Premier Wen stressed that the company should promote technological innovation to produce better products.
