CNPC employees working on overseas projects have been paying close attention to quake relief efforts and contributed funds for the quake-hit areas. Many local employees, local people and communities also provided financial support to show their concern.
Employees from CNPC International (Sudan) Refining Co, Ltd. and CNPC International (Nile) Ltd. donated USD 77,350; employees in
Kazakhstan
donated USD 168,150; many Chinese employees in Sudan and Venezuela donated more than USD 1,000 each; Chinese and local employees at CNPC America Ltd. donated USD 16,000; donations from CNPC employees in Venezuela totaled USD 26,230; and donations made by overseas employees at China Petroleum Technology & Development Corporation reached RMB 12,100.
Our overseas projects are showing great concern for employees whose hometowns are in the quake zone, such as collecting information and opening up channels of communication with their families.
