On May 29, Mr. Chen Deming, Vice Chairman of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), paid a two-day visit to CNPC AktobeMunaiGas in Kazakhstan, accompanied by CNPC Vice-President Zhou Jiping.

During his visit, Mr. Chen looked round the operation site of the oilfield, the construction site of the Third Zhanazhol Oil and Gas Processing Plant, the Emba-Zhanazhol railway sponsored by CNPC and the initial station of the KC-13 Gas Pipeline. Mr. Chen also met Chinese and Kazakh employees.
