Acron sets fertiliser price cap for Russian farmers

In accordance with the Cooperation Agreement between Russian Fertiliser Producers Association and Russian Agro-Industrial Association aimed at meeting domestic farmers' demand for mineral fertilisers in 2008-12, Acron Group companies have set a price cap for fertiliser sales to Russian farmers.

The price caps in the second half of 2012 will be as follows: RUB7,090 (US$220) per tonne of ammonium nitrate and RUB10,360 (US$322) per tonne of urea (the prices are FCA plant, bulk, excluding transportation costs and VAT). Based on the agreement reached with Apatit on the apatite concentrate supplies, Acron Group declares a price cap for NPK (16:16:16) at RUB13,160 (US$408) per tonne on the same delivery terms.
