EU approves German chemical company's Xemium fungicide
After the EU approved Xemium fungicide for crop protection products, German chemicals company BASF said Tuesday (July 17) that it is on track to significantly exceed its estimated peak sales potential of EUR200 million (US$246 million) a year.
BASF said it plans to register Xemium for more than 100 crops in over 50 countries.
The fungicide is already available in France, Germany and the UK, as well as in the US for soy, corn and specialty crops.
