Lysine market under pressure in China
Lysine prices fell further during the week ending June 18.
Softened soymeal prices decimated the demand for lysine, which was already slow as most buyers have stockpiled inventories before Dragon Boat Festival.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were in the range of RMB11-11.20/kg.
China's lysine sales will be weak amid slack export demands, soft soymeal prices, ample buyers' inventories, and cautious buying mood.
