Lysine prices stabilise in China on waning demand
Lysine prices rose marginally during the week ending June 5.
Demand for lysine waned of late after feed millers have accumulated sufficient stocks. Even though soymeal prices continued to surge over the week, buyers limited purchases anticipating soymeal market to soften in the longer term.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine remained in the range of RMB11.05-11.20/kg.
Lysine market is poised to remain firm in the near term as soymeal supplies stay tight due to delayed deliveries of South American soy imports.
