Lysine prices continued to drop during the week ending March 20.
   

Lysine prices dropped considerably over the week as buyers limited purchases with livestock markets performing poorly and soymeal prices poised to be weakened by abundant supplies.
   

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were in the range of RMB12.40-12.90/kg.
   
The sales of lysine are unlikely to improve in the near term. Feed millers will continue to maintain low procurements with hog prices soft.
