China lysine buyers turn cautious
Lysine prices remained unchanged during the week ending January 17.
Feed millers were cautious in stockpiling inventories as CBOT soy prices stayed weak. However, lysine producers stood firm despite slow demands amid low inventory pressure.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were at RMB13.15-13.60/kg.
Lysine sales are expected to slow down in the coming period. However, as producers are mainly producing to fulfil concluded orders, lysine prices will stay stable even as demand slows.
