Evonik opens analytical lab in China
Evonik's feed additives business announced Wednesday (May 13) the inauguration of its analytical lab for amino acid analysis in Beijing, China.
In order to meet the increasing analytical demand of customers in the region, Evonik decided to invest in the latest technology for amino acid analysis and assembled a skilled team at the new lab in Beijing, according to Julio Vrbanic, Evonik's North-Asia Regional Business Director. He added that the newly established lab will shorten the turnaround time for its customers.
Evonik's AminoLab?? analytics is a tool used for raw material evaluation and selection and the results allow purchasers to make the right decisions such as supporting accurate least cost feed formulation and quality control in feed and livestock productions.
Another of Evonik's analytical tool, AminoNIR?? Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS), has developed specific calibrations for the prediction of crude protein and essential amino acids for all major feed ingredients at moderate cost.
Evonik Industries is the only company in the world to produce and market all four important amino acids for the advanced animal nutrition: DL-Methionine, Biolys (L-Lysine), L-Threonine and L-Tryptophan. The company also delivers its services and amino acids to over 100 countries.
