Trow Nutrition, Eridon launch feed factory in Ukraine
The Dutch Trow Nutrition company, along with the Eridon company (Kyiv region) launched a feed factory in Kordelivka (Vinnytsia region), Vasyl Polyschuk, said the chairman of the Kalinovka district state administration in Vinnytsia region.
He said that construction of the factory with the capacity of 350 tonnes of feed-stuff per day took Trow Nutrition and Eridon EUR5.5 million (US$7.3 million).
The factory will produce feed-stuff for cattle, poultry and fish, and export 50% of all products.
The factory is equipped with the LIMS information system connected to the central Trow Nutrition laboratory in the Netherlands and designed to check samples of ready products.
Earlier in July 2009, the Eridon company built a plant in Popelnianskyi district, Zhytomyr region, to handle and pack seeds of wheat, barley, pea, soy, rapeseed, corn, sunflower and others.
The company is an official dealer to sell and service import grain harvesters.
The company was founded in 1993. The company has 24 offices in regions of Ukraine.
The Trow Nutrition company, which is part of the Nutreco corporation, is one of the world's largest producers of feed additives, premixes and concentrates.
Trow Nutrition was created in 1931 and now has offices in 25 countries.
