ADM names new vice president of procurement

Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) has announced that it has named Steven Cassady to vice president of procurement.
In this newly created position, Cassady will oversee all ADM non-commodity purchasing functions and manage key supplier relationships. He will be reporting to John Rice, executive vice president, Commercial and Production.
Rice is confident Cassidy could help the company advance its procurement function through his knowledge and expertise.
Recently, Cassady was Director of global procurement for Kohler Company. He has also held supply chain management positions for Lucent Technologies, and began his career as a senior project engineer with AT&T Corporation.
Cassady earned a Master of Business Administration in financial and international business from Columbia University, a master's degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois.
ADMconvert corn, oilseeds, wheat and cocoa into products for food, animal feed, chemical and energy uses, at more than 230 processing plants. The company operates crop origination and transportation network in 60 countries.
