FMS launches Brill Formulation Version 2.3
Press Release
Feed Management Systems (FMS), a developer of software solutions for the global animal feed manufacturing industry, has announced the launching of Brill Formulation Version 2.3 to customers globally.
The global feed nutrition and multi-blend software tool manages the nutrients, ingredients, cost and feed formulas and is the most complete tool for obtaining the least-cost solution.
The enhancements and new tools delivered in this release are provided to help companies improve the efficiency and responsiveness in their ability to optimise, make on-demand ingredient purchasing decisions, and analyse and extend formulation data across the organisation to enhance decision making ability, said the company.
This release of Brill Formulation includes notable features and new tools:
1. For users of our Brill Formulation Multi-Blend, this release includes a Double Parametric feature which enables the user to run a parametric analysis on two variables at the same time. The user can test one ingredient''s restriction while testing another ingredient''s cost change at the same time.
2. SmartLists are a popular feature and FMS has taken this capability to new heights. FMS has added two new Favourites, Nutrients All Plants and Nutrient Comparison. Excel reports can be taken to the next level in a graphical format quickly and easily with the new features. The user can use the raw data format or the graphical format, or customise to their needs, or create new graphical reports within Excel at the touch of a button.
3. This release provides enhanced data archiving with the SQL Data Bridge module. The SQL Data Bridge now provides the option to archive ingredient nutrient data, ingredient cost data and the formula specifications. As history is built in this database, the user can extract the complete nutrient profile for all the ingredients in a formula in addition to the nutrient profile of the formula. This data along with the formula specification means the user can show a complete reconstruction of a formula.
4. FMS has increased the Global Equation capacity to 200 due to customer feedback.
5. Microsoft Excel Interface. This new interface tool allows users to export Stored Formulas, Ingredients, Ingredient Prices, Formula Specifications, Equations and Formula Set File information to Microsoft Excel, modify it as necessary and then import information back into the Brill Formulation database.
