India's KSE opens new plant
India's KSE Ltd, which deals in cattle-feed mixture, milk, ice cream and allied products, has opened a new plant at Irinjalakkuda of Kerala state.
The plant will have a production capacity of 500 tonnes a day.
The plant uses technical knowhow from Avila of Germany with an investment of Rs140 million (US$2.8 million)
The machinery is fully automated to ensure quality products.
With a turnover of Rs3.5 billion (US$71 million), KSE produces about 290,000 tonnes of ready-mix cattle feed a year.
KSE has five modern cattle-feed factories, two solvent extraction plants, and two dairy plants in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
