The EU antitrust authorities on Thursday (May 14) gave the green light to ForFarmers' plans of acquiring Dutch raw material supplier Cefetra.

   

   

The executive European Commission stated the merger would not distort completion in the EU.

   

   

ForFarmers produces and sells animal feed, fertilisers, pesticides and seeds to farmers in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Cefetra BV supplies raw materials to the feed, food and fuel industries.
