Germany to reuse animal fat in pig feed
Germany may reuse animal fat in compound feeds for non-ruminants, with the final decision to be made Friday.
The German parliamentary committee for Nutrition, Agriculture and Consumer Protection supported the move, according to a report by a German agricultural magazine.
There is the idea that the ban on animal fats for non-ruminants is unjustified, though things are different for ruminants and will remain in place for cattle.
