Biomin to participate in Mycotoxins 2009 Conference
Press Release
Global feed additive company Biomin will contribute two talks to this year's technical conference ''Mycotoxins 2009'' on March 10, a day before the VIV Asia exhibition.
The technical conference ''Mycotoxins 2009'' will serve as a prelude to this year's VIV Asia.
Harmful substances such as mycotoxins are hazardous to livestock and the risk of mycotoxins in animal feed affects many parties such as farmers, nutritionists, veterinarians, producers as well as feed mill managers and even legislators. The upcoming conference addresses this extensive issue by providing a series of lectures.
The topics range from mycotoxins in feed and their baneful effects to prevention and detection. Biomin will be represented by Robert Nichol who will talk about ''The value and uses of surveys'' during the morning session, and Ursula Hofstetter who will offer some insight in ''Controlling mycotoxins in feed'' in the afternoon.
Both speakers will be attending the VIV Asia and will be available for any questions at the Biomin booth in Hall 1 A010.
Biomin develops and produces feed additives, premixes and services with the aim to improve animal health and performance in a natural and economically viable way.
