India's largest feedmill opens in Bangalore
Suguna Poultry will be building India's largest feedmill in Ekrajapura Village, Bangalore.
The feedmill would have a capacity of 80 Tonnes Per Hour (TPH) and is expandable up to 140 TPH.
Suguna Poultry will benefit around 2,000 farmers and provide direct employment for over 800 people.
The feedmill will source about 1,500 tonnes of raw materials per day from corn farmers and will produce mash, pellets and crumbles around Karnataka.
It is powered by a 2.5 MW eco-friendly bio-fuel plant, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
