DSM increases price of feed additive VevoVitall
DSM Nutritional Products announced a 35 percent global price increase in VevoVitall, an additive in pig feed.
VevoVitall is a grade of highly purified benzoic acid, which reduces ammonia emissions during pig husbandry by lowering the pH of pig urine. It also improves the growth and digestive systems of pigs.
The price adjustment is effective immediately for all newly contracted businesses.
DSM is a life sciences and material sciences company based in the Netherlands. Recently, it was involved in a patent dispute with American company ADM. The case was resolved last month.
