Seales builds large feedmill in New Zealand
Animal feed maker Seales Stockfood announced plans to build a 200,000 tonne per year feed mill, along with a 25-30,000 tonne bulk store for imported protein meals, south of Tokoroa, New Zealand.
The Waikato-based company's new US$30 million facility in Tokoroa will allow Seales to significantly increase its ability to service the 2 million dairy cows in New Zealand's North Island, said Ross Hyland, Seales managing director.
The new bulk store will service both Seales feed mills, as well as Waikato dairy farmers.
Apart from making custom blended animal feeds, Seales Stockfood also produces organic poultry.
