Slack livestock market drags down China choline chloride prices
Prices moved lower over the past weeks.
Feed millers were extremely prudent as feed sales reduced sharply by over 20% during February while hog prices continued to slide over the past few weeks. In a bid to attract buyers, choline chloride producer negotiated prices while trimethylamine costs reduced lately.
Prices of 60-percent content choline chloride fell to RMB5,350-5,550/tonne and RMB5,100-5,350/tonne in Shandong and Hebei respectively.
With the livestock market staying weak, buyers will remain cautious and limit procurements.
