Softer choline chloride prices in China amid reduced demand
Prices moved lower over the past weeks.
Hog population dropped amid increased disease rates and high releases during December, decimating the sales of choline chloride. Producers lowered prices in efforts to attract buyers.
Ex-factory prices of 50-percent content choline chloride in Shandong softened to RMB4,950-5,000/tonne.
Feed millers and
livestock producers, who are treading cautiously as disease mortality is high, will limit choline chloride purchases in the coming period.
