China's November soy imports up 43.9%
China's soy imports reached a total of 6.03 million tonnes in November, up 43.9% from 4.19 million tonnes in October, while imports of vegetable oils in November were 770,000 tonnes, up 42.6% from the previous month.
This is according to figures from the General Administration of Customs of China.
Meanwhile, exporters reported the sale of 290,000 tonnes of US soy to China, the USDA said. The total was comprised of 230,000 tonnes for 2013-14 delivery and 60,000 tonnes for 2014-15.
