China, South Africa ink Action Plan on Agricultural Cooperation

Minister Han Changfu and his counterpart Mr. Senzeni Zokwanafrom South Africa signed the Action Plan on Agricultural Cooperation between the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Republic of South Africa and the Ministry of Agriculture of the People''s Republic of China (2014-2016) on Dec. 4, 2014, under the witness of the state leaders of both countries.
This Action Plan identifiesthe areas, modes and major activities for bilateral agricultural cooperation in the following years, including exchange of study groups, human resource development and cooperation in agricultural higher education among others.
The Action Plan (2014-2016) is the fourth of its kind under the mechanism of Working Group on Agriculture. The former three action plans were well implemented with fruitful results.
